About Me

I spent over 15 years working with plants and gardens – growing, teaching, and designing until the summer of 2008 when I became a mom. Along the way I received a Master of Science in Ecological Design but I loved my new job! My daughter and I lived on love, co-sleeping and nursing on demand, but after 18 months, I hit a wall. I was too depleted to do anything well. Thankfully, I found Kim West, LISW-C, The Sleep Lady. Her gentle system and coaching helped me teach our daughter to sleep in a way that I could feel good about, and most importantly, follow through with. There were many positive outcomes for me and my family from working with Kim but one of the best was seeing the spark in our daughter’s eye – a sure sign of rest, health and happiness.

If I could do it, so can you.

I never thought I’d stop my work connecting plants and people but when you’re not sleeping, nothing else matters. When Kim offered her first training, I jumped at the chance and feel passionate about guiding parents though the loving process of teaching their children to sleep.

We had a son in 2011 and it was such a relief to have systems in place to teach him to sleep. I live in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire with my husband, daughter, son and golden retriever. When I’m not being a mom or sleep coach I can be found in the garden, in the kitchen or hiking in the woods with our dog (or taking the rare nap!)
